The screen on the smartwatch just doesn’t work, the screen turns on but its a navy/black colour and nothing shows on the screen but the watch does respond and make sounds when I touch the screen however I cannot see anything. I have tried charging the watch and turning it on/off, but it remains dead.

did you try to disconnect the battery and reconnect? if so, you'll have to try and flash to stock rom.
