I have the same issue and so do most people. The dock is the problem. You need to get a KW88 cable or I3/14 cable - they work perfectly The standard dock is faulty for most people.

the problem is on the windows 7 64bit?

Yes, with the dock

In fact I have imagined it from the beginning. I have already ordered a cable. Hope coming soon

I’ve tested both docks and they connect to the PC. I’m using Windows 7 x64. Can’t say what android USB drivers i’m using though. Who knows what’s going on in there after everything i’ve installed over time.

Yes - mine worked for a short time - maybe a day ?

I found that leaving the base connected to the PC ends with Windows - or Mac OS logging errors and downloading drivers…

In the end you get “windows does not recognise this device” error.

I cannot verify on 32bit as I do not have one.

I right-clicked C:\Windows\INF\wpdmtp.inf and pressed install every time my watch did not get recognized. Then it worked again for some time.

Well yesterday I receive at last my LES 1 after two LEM 5 with different problems each. I switched on the watch and when I connect it to the pc it recognize it as LEM 5. Didn’t bother me this but after I copy one two apps in the folder download suddenly didn’t recognize the watch at all. The message I receive was unknown device with code 43 or 45. I read the posts here and I check that my pc running win7 64bit.
To tell the truth with all the above I read I already order a KW88 cable. Do you think that if I update the drivers with the above info will achieve to connect the watch again? Because I would like to update the firmware, to copy some ringtones etc.
Thanks in advance

I just recived my les 1 , and saddly the same problem with win 7 32bits. All drivers installed and it does not work, only as a charger. With the kW88 cable should work??

Finally came the 4-pin cable USB. Now works perfectly on windows 7 64bit! I could install the new firmware!

Did it work with the kw88 cable?

I have ordered two different usb cables for my lemfo les 1 and neither one of them worked. The second one was this one ‘2017 Best selling kingwear kw18 smartwatch kw88 smartwatch clock charging usb 4pin cable k88h smartwatch cabe for phonewatch’ but it also didnt work. Please paste here a link with a usb cable to buy. I have the exact same problem with the watch and after 3 months and 2 cables i haven t achieved anything.

do you have the les1 dock or just a charging/data cable?

I have the dock but its pretty annoying. It doesen t fit well and for example yesterday i was updating the watch and suddelnly the dock disconnected and i had run into a chaos of problems until i fix it.I want a charging/data cable that will do the work which ive seen in a videos was easily attached to the watch. But i want one that will work because the other 2 i ve ordered were not compatible.

I had exactly the same problem and I can't offer a solution (yet), I'm sorry. But...

I’m now using an app called SHAREIt and I’m quite happy with it as a workaround. It transfers files using Wifi.
Install the app on your watch and the program on the PC, connect the two and you can transfer 1 or or multiple files or folders from the PC to the watch and vice versa over Wifi.

You can get the app here: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lenovo.anyshare.gps
You can get the Windows/Mac software here: www.ushareit.com/

Also avaialble:
iOS: itunes.apple.com/app/id725215120?mt=8
WinPhone: www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/shareit/9wzdncrdsz0p

I hope it helps.

I've tried this method. For me it did not work. Do you want to try it out? www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/242140-44-device-refuses-installed-please

Dear.I had the same problem on win7/64 bit.How to fix it:

  1. connect watch to PC in the charghing dock.it Will install a Linux driver and one called lemfo and them You
ghete an error…download the mtp usb driver from microsoft and then instăll it.
  2. You Will find a device called"lemfo" in" devices and printers/win7,If it does not work, double clicking on it and You get a error:“device cannot start”,restart computer and then You have to do a hard reset to the watch and connect it again to the PC.It should be right now…!
