I just wanted to let everyone know that I won’t be working on any watch faces for the next few days. 2 of my sons almost drowned yesterday. Both stopped breathing but were resucitated. The. Eldest of the two is back home and recovering. The younger is still in the hospital being monitored. Until he is back home, I may post comments, but no new work. I will probably post my basic Stargate themed face then. If there is anyone religious here, any prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Update: my oldest son is eating solid food and walking around (he was very weak and was throwing up a lot last night). My younger son is being transferred from PICU to a normal room. They are hoping to try to give him solid food with his next meal. Thank you so much for your prayers and support.

Hang in there, im a single full time dad and cant imagine what you are going through,
I am a father of 7. 3 girls and 4 boys. Several are diagnosed with ADHD and/or DMDD(mood disorder similar to bipolar) and my middle girl is ADD and Autistic, like myself. It was within 5 minutes that all this transpired. We just wanted to get the kids out of the house because it’s been 35-38+°C here in NM, US. Or it’s been really rainy. It shakes you to the core holding your child’s lifeless body and wondering if there is any way to bring him back.
I’m sincerely sorry. Don’t know but it must feel devastating.
My sons are fighters and I am very proud at how quickly they’re recovering. I’m just going to need a few days until my son gets home and I process everything that’s happened before I get back to working on more watch faces. I’ll try and comment and “+1” other faces I really like, but it may be a bit before I get back into things.
Last update on this issue. My younger son is on his way home. His blood work came back fine, his lungs are clear and he’s back to his pain in the butt self. I just wanted to thank everyone one last time for their prayers and support. It really means a lot to me that this community has been so supportive during this hard time for my family. Fortunately the only thing to die was my smartwatch. As it was not designed for swimming, it got fried. As I’ve said to other people, a watch can be replaced. My sons can’t. I am just overjoyed that I’ll finally have both of them back home. I’ve been thanking G-d for letting us keep our boys for the past few days.(On a side note: I prefer to use G-d out of respect of several of my Jewish friends.)
