How does one connect KW99 to a PC to use clockskins?

HI,

Happy New Year !

I know there is stuff coming out of the ying yang about this and I have looked around the forum but the penny hasn’t dropped for me yet as to how to get the clockskins to the KW99.

I have the skins on the PC (Win10) and see that the watch already has a /clockskin/ folder but I cannot see any files in that folder.

I also have wifi connected to the Router that the PC is on for LAN.

In Win 10 Explorer see the KW99 under "Phones’ but cannot see any folders/files.

Please how do I get the files to that folder from the PC?

I am having trouble actually connecting the watch to the pc.

I have the unzipped watch files ready to transfer to the watch /clockskin’ folder but not sure how to do this.

I have connected the watch via USB to the PC but cannot see it in Explorer.

What do I need to do please ?

have you made sure that drivers are installed? mtp usb? make sure that debugging is’nt on, also make sure after all this the watch is on mtp in the notifications bar.

Oh okay where would these drivers be and where would I check debugging and change to mtp in the watch.

go to settings - about device and there you need to lacate developers option and uncheck debugging.

Great ! That worked and I have now transferred the files to the clockskin folder.

How then do I install the new face?

remember you can only put folders in the clockskin folder that contain png. files and not more folders:) and after you put this in the clockskin folder you should be able to see the faces on the watch after reboot the watch.

btw, why do’nt you flash your watch with the new firmware that include the bt calls app?

Yes my KW99 BT calling does work. Receives and makes calls
