Hi,
I just received my new D5. It has built-in firmware version 160310. I am facing one strange problem that its detecting the 3g network and internet is also working with mobile network but for text and call its coming ‘Mobile network not available’. I am based out of India and tried on Airtel mobile network. I have tried following things:

  1. Selected both manual and automatic network selection.
  2. Did factory reset twice

Would appreciate if anyone could help.

Thanks for such a quick reply. Will definitely check for APN but isn’t it used for internet connections while internet is working.

I checked APN with the service provider and they are saying the setting is fine. Any suggestions what can I do next?

I have same problem with indian carriers airtel and Vodafone. However when I travelled to malaysia, it worked fine with airtel Malaysia. I guess it can be issue with band or region settings
