Hi everyone,
IQI I3 release, price and specification information.
I don’t know if you’ve seen this add yet but I need you to know that the price and release date are not known yet so it is FALSE information - do not buy from it !!
As soon as real information becomes available from IQI we will release it. The only real thing about the web page is the design. Even the colour schemes are incorrect.
It’s going to be a beautiful watch at only 13.5 mm thick! With a 400x400 multi touch amoled display it looks fantastic! Inspired with design help from Mini Cooper.
It has 512mb ram and 4gb storage. To keep it this sleek, the battery is 350mah. Three G is on-board with the 850 & 2100 bands. GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi are also available.
When it is released it will come with a black, silver or gold body. It expected to be available early October.
Latest update is that the retail price is expected to be around $159 US.

My biggest issue with round watches is they cut off the top and bottom menu of apps…hip to be square. :wink:

Does anyone know if we will be able to upload our developer watch faces from this community to this IQI I3 watch when it’s released?

@Tom_Bosko if i’m not mistaken now there is an option to choose round or square view of the app.

@sonia_sophie_ataunna Yes, but you lose even more screen space…;(

@Tom_Bosko i would use the square screen to set the app and than move back to round display

@sonia_sophie_ataunna but then you will lose the top and bottom parts of the application…like outlook, you will lose options to use- far left and right options…

@Lokifish_Marz thanks for that info!! What about FB and Twitter? Can’t even open Instagram becuase it doesn’t sense a camera…

Agree totally. I don’t even like whatsapp on my watch for the same reason as Loki mentions.
I’m sad about the watch faces issue with this watch because otherwise it’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing watches on the market.
I’m really going to get stuck in to Sinsoft about this and also hope that we can come up with a solution to address it.

Just that you can’t add custom watch faces at the moment. It has a dozen or so built in but we still need to work out how to customise the stock launcher.
