Nice work Eric. I was thinking of developing the same thing, but you beat me to it. I ran it on my Sony phone.
Some things I noticed

  • Double tap doesn’t seem to resize all the panels equally
  • It fits the screen 1 pixel short around each edge, so you can see some stuff around the edge flickering
  • My phone screen is a rectangle not a square, so the bottom half is visible and you can see all sorts of things rotating there with my skins.

These are not a problem really, because it works fine on a watch. It’s just that it’s a nice way of showing off skins because they look good on a bigger screen.

I tried to use swlauncher on my Finow Q1 with the new SlimOS rom, but the Watch face is cut off and using the zoom function does not change anything.

Now I tried it. Works good, but
When I enable Navigation bar and enable show landscape, (only) the watch face is cut off with white bars that are as high as the navigation bar is when I swipe up to activate it. but I can use SlimPIE instead of the navigation bar.
Some things in the settings area are cut off when the DPI is set to 170, which is default by this rom.
When I touch the Google symbol or the microfone, the launcher crashes, but I do not have the google app. But that crash is not really a problem.
When I go home from any app with your launcher as default launcher, the screen turns off and I have to turn it on again. After that the Launcher is opened. Can I turn off that the screen turns off when I press home?missing/deleted image from Google+

No, you can’t turn it off, normally it should redirect you to the launcher and not do the screen off… Probably something specific to your watch. You should share on the proforum thread to have help from others maybe.
