I knew of the GULF oil company of course, but I just looked it up now on seeing your watch face and I didn’t know that they were defunct since March 15th 1985…and yet on reading further it seem like they are still in business? Or at least a company is trading as GULF? But in any case I like the face and it is interesting that , by your posting it and me searching GULF I got a nice face and a history lesson at the same time! “Folks, you want your young un’s to get a good education? Then have them wear a Joao_Nascimento watch face!”

Hi @SunChar Many thanks for the info on GULF, much appreciated mate! Must be interesting working in the UAE! I would have loved to have seen Abu Dhabi…but I think the chances of that happening with this Covid business are very remote now. I can’t see international travel for Tourists happening for a good many years yet. Cheers, Doons

Yes Buddy, I have seen many interesting projects took / taking place. Since from Civil background, I must admire the standards & time frame of the projects in UAE. UAE is one of the great place to live. Covid is affected a lot on our lives. I am working form home for almost now 16 months. our friends and family’s are stuck out side UAE since no flights are operational, Tourism also effected. Hoping for good old days to return. it’s pretty hot not a days.
