HI there I’m new to this. I’m 41yrs old and only just bought a smartwatch, it’s a V8 Bluetooth watch. I was wondering how do I get these awesome faces you guys have done on my watch. I love Tag and Brietling and when I’ve downloaded them on my Samsung phone there are like 81 files that come with it and I’m asked to extract it. So when the download is complete which file do I upload to my watch. Thanks and keep up the absolutely awesome work. PS how and what app do I use to try design my own watch face.
I don’t think you will be able to use anything you find on this forum. It is for Full Android (OS) not Wear watches.
The V8 smartwatch I found is running a different OS that is not compatible. I’m not 100% sure but would bet it uses (MTX) watchface files , similar to the KW 08, KW 18 watches but not sure if that is even possible. You’ll just have to do some research. Sorry
Update: they are vpx watch faces.
I came to the same conclusion. I couldn’t find a Fullandroid watch called V8.
So we can not help you in this forum, sorry.
I found a video detailing this watch and it runs the Mediatek “Fun app” on your phone, in conjunction with the watch. It is the same setup as the KW watches.
Correction to earlier post. The watchfaces for this watch are vpx files. They are available at some web sites and can be download and installed on the watch via the Mediatek app. If I remember right you download the watchfaces onto your computer and then transfer them to the watch via the Mediatek app. They do limit how many you can install at one time.
You will just have to do a search online to find the information. Try searching for “vpx watch faces free download” and it will get you to the watchfaces and instructions on how to install them. For example there is a nice Brietling face available.
I did it for my watches and with a little patience you can do it too. Good luck.
Is the v8 Bluetooth smartwatch running on Android (like the phones & tablets)? Or Google wear?
Hi . Have you read the above posts ? Thanks
You will have to shell-out more than $15 to realize the potential of these watches… I suggest Kospet PrimeSE, about $99 for a watch that will run all week…
