H18 new FAW smartwatch

How about this beautiful watch??

It’s Android 9.0. But includes NFC and it looks REALLY stilish.

Some kind of medley between LEMP (DM30) and Prime 2

What do you think?

If it really does have NFC (which I personally doubt), it will unfortunately not be usable for payment functions.
Furthermore, it is probably Android 8.
But - I don’t know anything about this watch, so I can only speculate.

I guess the @Dr_Andy_Vishnu has an identical watch called x18. I think he can give us information about the Android version and NFC.

As for the system information tab, there says “Android 9.0” on system files…
Check out the videos, it’s clearly visible on a part of one of them.

You can’t trust that.
You need a hardware info report and even then it can still be faked…

It has a totally new, fresh user interface.
Even if Android 8, looks really great.

I have a LEMP, but this new watch are really making me doubt wether change it or not. And I’m really conscience about what I win and what I loose on each one, starting by the double camera and his -on my opinion better-than-anyone-else- disposition.

On the other hand, a bigger screen, better native keyboard, better use interface, it seems battery last longer on stand by…
I don’t know man. I just know it’s difficult to choose something like Galaxy watch with this stuff all around, haha

Its 100% A8.1

Trust me

One thing i wont say is its a bad watch. Its actually really good. Screen and battery are superb.

Then I’ll buy it. It will be my first or second watch them, combined with my lemp.

Does anybody can confirm if Google maps works fine?
Also I want to know if the user interface and layers looks good and not shows overlapped on itself when you choose a trip route.
Thanks

Yes. All good

I just got one, and yes so far it seems to be the best of a very bad bunch from the last few years. However, despite disabling every power savings and optimizing setting I can find it’s still killing at least some background apps. Am I missing something?

How about the H19? It seems similar to the H18 but it is claimed to have an AMOLED screen. Is that true? If so I might use it as a time-always-on watch to get around the background killing. Most listings on AliExpress won’t ship it to my address, but I found a couple that would. Might that be due to cell service incompatibility? For me that’s not an issue since I do phone over wifi.

Bad watch, nice hardware but software is a nightmare, don’t buy…

I would be very surprised if the H19 is amoled

Yes, I agree.

Which one do you mean?
H18?
Or H19?

I speak about H18…

The lack of a circle/square mode switch or the like is baffling and REALLY annoying. Perhaps a fatal flaw.

The H18 does have a square mode ?
