Thank You for Your answer. I’ m sorry, but maybe there’ s a misunderstanding. I’ ll try to find better words. There will not be Your fault if the watch will not work properly. According with FAW community suggestions, I repeat that I’ m sure watch will not have any problems with EU frequencies after I’ ll choose the correct settings.

I only want to know FAW community opinions on what could be the meaning of the Alibaba seller answer I’ ve written in the previous post.

I understand. The basically are covering themselves selling a CN watch to a non CN country. You will be fine IF they send the correct model

Hi @Dr_Andy_Vishnu, thank You for Your answer. According to recommendations by this FAW community, If I understand it well, I have only to be careful to avoid CD20Max watch with EU firmware version that is not good as the Chinese one, isn’ it?

However I’ m waiting for Alibaba seller news, so any further suggestions about the better watch model choice will be appreciated.

Hi @Dr_Andy_Vishnu, I’ ve forgotten to ask You: what was Your experience with CD20Max watch? I’ ve read that it was on the way and You would have make a test and talk us about it.

It didnt arrive. They sent a CD20 instead so i got a refund ?.

The S100 is worth a look

I see. I don’ t know if it’ s possible, but could You send me the link of the Alibaba store have sold You the CD20 instead of CD20Max, in order to avoid mistake. I wouldn’ t ask for a refund. I think it’ s much better to avoid it.

To be honest they are all doing it. Specify in Alibaba chat and you are covered for refund. I did. Basically if price too cheap its a CD20 not CD20max

Hi, Alibaba seller says me Chinese firmware version CD20Max is available and there’ s no problems to send it to Italy.

I’ ve read in a thread on this FAW community that it’ s not a simple thing to flash on the new Febraury 2026 firmware of the CD20Max.

And then there’ s another one important thing to say. At the moment my PC runs on dual-boot OS: Debian 11 (Linux based) and Windows 7. Can I eventually flash on the CD20Max newer firmware? Maybe is a latest Windows OS version (like the 10 or 11 ones) recommended?

Maybe is it much better for me to buy a Chinese firmware version of S100 Android watch? If I understand well, it is a little bit easier to “work on” it, isn’ t it?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated by anyone have recently bought a Chinese latest (2026) firmware CD20Max and tried to flash it

if you have a up to date linux, it is very easy to flash the watch to any system, and you can use ai

i have chinese up to date cd12max although mine is defective but i still tested it is not possible to root but can install system easilly no problem

it is possible to enable usb debugging in all divo smartwatch which include all w527
