Gaofit doesn't work anymore?

Did anybody know if Gaofit is still working fine?
Or maybe they’re finishing their support on some products?
Since a few days I can’t download watchfaces from the app or the watchfaces store on the watch.
Also, I can’t get the watch image (Lemfo LEMP)on the main screen:


Nothing yet?

I guess noone is using it…

I’m testing watch droid. Was not my favorite before, but I guess I have no choice now…

A question is, does the Bluetooth have to be always turned on to this app can work??

'Cause Gaofit don’t need Bluetooth always on to work, that’s the NRF52832 Bluetooth chip’s work of my watch…

I thought it had been removed from the Play store?
As far as I know, Gaofit is no longer being supported.
Mostly because the watches that use it are no longer supported by the brands that sold them, but also because it did not meet some security standards required for the Play Store.

If I get a definite answer, I’ll let you know.

But it’s probably that you’re right with the brands matter you said…

It is very likely, yes.
The brands are not going to want to provide infrastructure for an app on a device they stopped selling (officially) in 2021.

Hmm, if it is still on the Play Store then it is surprising. :thinking:

What exactly is no longer working?
Did you actually sign up for the Chinese cloud service that is offered with the app? Supposedly for collecting stats (but looking at the netstat results when you are connected to the app, it collects just about everything about you and the watch…lol) The issue that many people have with the whole Gaofit experience is that it collects all this information and there is no explanation about why it should do that, or where it goes.

I believe there is an option to use the app without taking a dive into the insecure world of cloud data warehouses.

Anyway, please give us a brief description of what is no longer working for you.

Ain’t work the options showed on the first post and the links on Help tab, including the access to the forum (THIS forum).
Also the watchfaces store located on the watch itself ain’t working neither from the same date.
No idea about the cloud service you’ve mentioned above, I think that option doesn’t even exist because I don’t remember to have seen it before.

It’s a Lemfo lem P right?
I will ask them today.
Should be their first day back at work today after the holidays.

Yes, it’s a LEMP but I suspect this could be extending to other similar models… Like Optimus 2, or maybe Prime 2.

I have checked.
Services have not been turned off.
What date did it break?

About fifteen days ago maybe? I don’t know exactly, but it’s a fact.
Even I’ve just changed my Android phone and I was expecting this could be maybe a problem only on my old phone, but big was my surprise when I noticed the same problem on my new phone too when I installed the Gaofit app again…

And the watchfaces store on the phone is not working too (it gives me a “service exception” message and if you scroll down to bottom it says “network anomaly” message.

Now the service it’s working again on my old phone!!


I didn’t do anything, Gaofit was already installed there but now it’s working again by itself.

Probably the Chinese restarted the service and didn’t tell you nothing about it :sweat_smile:

I use GAO-FIT for 2 years,until today it works.
If someting goes wrong you can reset te watch with it.
I do not get watchdroid working well,I think thats my failure.
