Gallet Flying Officer

In 1939, the Gallet Flying Officer was commissioned by then U.S. Senator (and future U.S. President) Harry S Truman to be issued to officers of the U.S. Army Air Corps. It was used by hundreds of American pilots during World War II, and Truman frequently wore one during his presidential term.
