Found an article where the Finow X1 antenna gets removed/repaired.
Well sort off. Rather confusing item how the person removed and soldered the antenna cable back to the foil. Replacing the cable with another from I guess the GPS antenna. Can’t make sense of it after step#5.
BUT, the article gives us a few nice pics of the watches insides and how the Wifi antenna foil looks like. As you can clearly see, the point where the wire is soldered to the foil is a single point of failure.
Depending who did the soldering, it might be the reason for bad reception.
Cutting the band and resoldering might be a way to solve this problem.
And then finding someone that can re-sticht the band…
Duplicated post, was been shared before
Please post the link. I can’t find it.
I disassembled/reassembled the X5 twice. It can be done, but both antenna are hidden well within the strap.
The only thing you can’t change is the display itself. It is a pain in the ass to remove and glue back to the metal frame of the watch. And the prob is : you won’t find a spare display.
@Vmax Hello Dirk, can I have GSM antenna replaced and where?..got mine broken
