I don’t know if this the right place to post this but for those who want to try to flash X5+ firmware (thanks to nanabosho for sharing) will face some screen errors
Here’s some fix, all you need just flash it in TWRP.
This probably not safe and can damage your watch and need some basic skills to flash firmware, running adb and installing custom recovery, so I’m not recommend it for everyone to try and do it at your own risk!!!
How to flash the firmware:
- Install TWRP from /thread/85/twrp-3-2-x3-w612
- Boot to TWRP recovery --> DO A BACKUP!!!
- Do a factory reset (wipe) from the TWRP --> turn off the smartwatch (no need to turn it on just yet)
- Flash the system partition with X5+ firmware from /thread/332/finow-x5-thoughts-firmware-link using SP flash tool (don't flash anything else beside system.img, the device will go to a boot loop and may damage your smartwatch)
- Turn on the watch, connect it to your computer and use adb to reboot it to recovery (if you don't know how, just google it)
- Install my update.zip from TWRP and reboot.
Wifi, bluetooth, data, audio etc are working
Posible bug: twisting your hand to turn on the screen doesn’t work… probably need some calibration (still investigate it) and probably a lot more…
