What version of Android does the FINOW X5 Firmware 160524 use? Is there a firmware with android 6 or above?
X5 uses 4.4. X5 plus uses 5.1. It doesn’t matter the firmware number, just
the watch name. None of them use Android 6 yet.
Does anyone know if the X5 plus is likely to get android 6 or above? Id really like to run google assistant and that requires at least android 6
I have not heard of any smartwatch, old or new, running anything above
Android 5.1 at this time. I often get advanced information on watches still
in concept form, and nothing is on the radar yet. We do have the first 16GB
smartwatch out now, the LEMFO LES1, which is good news, and there are at
least two others in the pipeline which will be announced soon, but none
claim anything higher in the Android OS level.
