Experience with this watch

I’m starting this topic quite late, but I couldn’t do it any other way. I have about 1300 days of Lem 12 Pro. The only drawback was the sim card door, which I had to glue firmly to the lid. Otherwise, the battery on the new watch lasted about a day and a half and that hasn’t changed. I charge it to 100%. I changed the strap to a silicone one right after the purchase, so I can’t rate it.
The watch works accurately even without a Wi-Fi connection. I wear them daily, even at work in a dusty environment, I don’t take them off even at night, so I can confirm that sweat doesn’t bother them in any way. Probably because the pins don’t touch the hand and therefore still work. In summary - I’m sorry it’s no longer in production. I haven’t had a better smart watch. And they still work

Mine also works fine after all the time i have had it. For me the slim form factor was way ahead of its time :+1:

The watch mainly has the pins positioned so that they do not touch the hand. So there is no contact with sweat. I had a Lemfo Lem 4 and after half a year they could no longer be charged because the pins fell apart. The watch worked perfectly but was useless. I think the magnetic cables are a big step back. They would work for a long time with MicroUsb. But that’s probably not in the interests of the producers

In fact, the space required by a USB port is the main problem. It takes up significantly more space than the magnet charger, especially in terms of height.
Waterproofing is also a problem. But that’s probably secondary, since these watches were never waterproof anyway…
I admit that I think a USB plug is the better solution, too.
But it is definitely not the manufacturers’ wish to deliberately limit durability.

I don’t think so. For electronics manufacturers, it makes no sense to invest in one product (mobile phones, watches, simply small electronics) because you don’t expect to keep it for 10 years. Watches, like phones, are always evolving, and that evolution will force you to buy new products.
I had to replace a working 4-year-old phone with a new one because it had Android 6 and the applications I use no longer worked on it
