I flash Format ALL+ downloaded this system and it works IMEI, GPS, and other things, it cuts gently but I always had that with it, calling also works. I now have A7.1.1 In the picture I wanted to flash A10 Firmware Upgrade and the Protect2 error pops up.
You can’t flash it because it is not for this watch.
Glad you managed to get your nvdata back.
Flashing stock firmware is the only way.
But no, you can’t flash A10…yet.
We will see what we can do about this but it is not possible at the moment
What if I swapped the Preloader file from 10 to the stock 7?
Are you serious?
How can you possibly think that swapping the preloader will fix anything?
Have you understood what secure boot is?
You seriously need to do some research before you do anything else or you will brick the watch.
Please try to understand the process before you do anything else.
You need to understand that this is for very advanced users who understand what is going to happen if it is used.
You have a lot of research to do before you mess around with something like this.
The other thing is, what do you think you need to do this for?
The watch is very reliable without risking turning it into a useless brick.
Screen flicker is probably due to the screen type and because you don’t have the original firmware details - it is extremely difficult to fix.
But what you have been doing is NOT the answer
So I can continue to combine at the system?
No.
Not possible because the images are signed to prevent you from breaking the watch using a mixture of A10 and A7.1.1.
Please go and do some research before asking anything else.
This is just getting silly now.
You need to have an understanding of how these things work.
Please take some time to understand the basics.
XDA has a lot of information on this because it is a development forum.
Start there
OK. I searched XDA and found there methods to backup nvdata and restore it later. Would it help in this case?
Well, maybe xda will help you understand the difference between A7.1 and A10 partitioning and the little mater that I mentioned earlier - every image / partition is signed.
In A10 it is especially important because the encryption is used to make sure that all images match the meta data stored in the firmware.
It is called DM_VERITY and VBMETA.
Anyway, my whole point is that you need to learn and understand all these things.
Before you realise that what you are trying to do is not possible.
Good luck.
OK. Do you have TWRP for Android 10? Trying with TWRP ported but it only supports up to Oreo
No, because of this
This is the last time I will answer.
You obviously have not read what I explained and you just don’t seem to want to learn.
I know what DM_Verify and Vbmeta are. Because I create Custom Roms myself and have an idea about it. DM-verify in a nutshell is a crap that prevents modification and rework of files on the system, it is used to verify data. On the subject of partitioning I also have an idea because I put Windows 10 on smartphones. I only care about building custom roma on this watch and on the Openwatch Website is terrible confusion. If it wasn’t such a mess I wouldn’t bother and build custom roma myself and fix the errors present in the system. I care about the efficiency of this watch only because of the fact that I spent a lot of money on it
