I have bought the Diggro DI01 and I think it’s a very good smartwatch but the camera and heart rate sensor on my device are not working. I did not find this watch in any other threads and it is not mentioned in the overview on the home screen but maybe someone can help me with this?
When I start the camera app it says: “Can’t connect to the camera. Please make sure to close other apps that might use camera or flashlight.”
I have no other camera apps running and there is no flashlight or LED. I already made a reset to factory settings and even flashed the original firmware again, but no success with the camera.
Has anyone successfully rooted this watch yet? I tried those one-click-solutions, but they all failed and I could not find a custom rom or custom recovery for this watch. I think it is strange that there aren’t more threads for this smartwatch, because it is a really nice gadget with good specs in my opinion. Maybe it is more popular by other names? I would be glad to get any information!

do'nt do nothing with it you can't be sure it is a software problem and if so still this should'nt be that way you should contact the seller whom you bought from and ask for new watch or a refund. true most of our users have the popular watch which is the les1\thor.
It is a used watch I bought on ebay for less than 30€, so there is no warranty. Even without camera it is a great deal but the camera would be nice to have. If it was a hardware issue there would be no solution of course.
I looked after the watches which are mentioned in this forum, but they all look different from the DI01. I thought maybe the DI01 is known under a different name, like many chinese devices are.
Maybe it runs the same firmware as some other models, so other custom recoveries might work too? With a custom recovery I could at least get root on this watch.

maybe the recovery for les1\thor will be good for your watch but can’t be sure.
What would be the best way (without root) to backup the whole system including the original boot.img, recovery and system? I would like to try the custom recovery but I want a safe way back…
Ok, I finally managed to root my Diggro DI01 without a custom recovery. I post it here in case someone else has this watch and wants to root it. I used the “magisk manager” by “topjohnwu” from the XDA developers Forum. This method worked for me, but use it at your own risk!
First download the official firmware for the DI01 here:
www.diggro.com/pages/download-center
You will need the original boot.img from the zip-file and copy it to your watch. If anything goes wrong you can also use this firmware with flashtool to restore your watch.
Then download and install the magisk manager from here and follow the instructions:
forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
When you are asked to select the boot.img to be patched then select the one you just copied to the watch.

No work for me… When use Fastboot command, console say No Android Device…
No root…
