I’ve bounced around between here, g+, YouTube, and the play store trying to get my head around watch face types and the programs/apps to make them. Is watchface designer linux only, and is the a resource for learning other than the forums since everything is kinda spread out.

Hi,
The watchface designer is a multi-platform app. It was developed in java and works on any environment that has the Java Runtime Environment (version 8, at least) installed. That means it works on Linux, on Windows, on Mac, on FreeBSD, etc… The resources for learning are on the forum and on youtube. I publish some videos on the Watchface Designer thread trying to explain how to use it to draw watches. I try to do it everytime someone asks how to do something I haven’t explained yet. Check out all the videos on that thread (starting on page one) and you’ll see how to make them.
Regarding the apps, for the watchfaces we normally recommend Eric’s Universal Launcher. You can download it from this forum or from the Play Store. The link on the Play Store is: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ricktop.ClockSkinCoco
Again, there are videos explaining how to add watchfaces to your watch using the Universal Launcher.
Finally, regarding watchface types. There are many watchface types, such as clockskins, watchmaker .watch watchfaces, facer watches, Pujie Black watchfaces, and so on. Most of these were made for Android Wear watches (such as LG, Asus, Huawei, Motorola, Fossil, etc. watches) and/or Tizen watches (Samsung watches). Your watch is neither an Android Wear watch nor a Tizen watch. It’s an Android watch (notice the lack of the Wear keyword. I’m supposing it’s an AllCall W1). By default, it only supports clockskins (those are inside the .zip files you encounter on the G+ community). If you use the previously mentioned Universal Launcher, then it will also support watchmaker .watch watchfaces. These, however, were developed for Android Wear and as such, some functionalities may not be supported on your watch (but most are). The installation method for these .watch faces is basically the same as for the ClockSkins (that is, just put them on a specific folder).

Thank you for all your work and help, can I ask how you remove a leading zero on a digital face in wfd?
