Hi, I hope I’m in the right section… I really love the Chronosurf app, but I would like it as a watchface as well. Now I wonder, on the Google Play it says ‘There is also a dedicated “Android Smartwatch Mode” for standalone Android Smartwatches (like the Finow X5) that optimizes the app for the watch screen. Note that Cronosurf runs as a regular app on these devices (not as a watchface).’
Does anyone know what mode that might be?
Since I couldn’t find this mode, I also tried another approach: via the app Settings Search > Display > Background > Live backgrounds, I can choose Chronosurf. Although the watch remembers this setting, nothing happens.

will try and see, also asked the developer if he can make a video:)
Cronosurf was developed as an app for Android and as such it can run on Android standalone smartwatches. The reason why it was not made as a native watchface, is because the watchface functionality for these type of watches is very limited. One of the biggest limiting factors is that the watchface is not interactive.
The “Android Smartwatch Mode” is a mode that will scale the watch to perfectly match the display and use predefined display areas to use as buttons (instead of the graphic buttons in normal mode).
Normally, the app detects that it is running on a watch-type display and activates this mode automatically. If it is not correctly detected (noticeable through the visible graphical watch-case and watch-buttons) just go to the preferences (middle tap, then the settings icon) and activate this mode. Hope this helps.
As for the setting “Settings Search > Display > Background > Live backgrounds”, I could not find this. On my X5, I also have Settings-Search installed, but there is no “Background” listed under “Display”, only Wallpaper.
Best regards

On my D5+ scale doesn't work.
Only the bezel change and the same black screen outer ring.
Both Cronosurf Wave and Soccer look really great on my Finow X3+, and all interactive functions work perfect.
It would have been nice if it could be set as a default watchface.
Anyway, thanks for pointing out.
