While this watch doesn’t appear to be unusual, it was to me - at least - an awakening for two reasons: First, the moon phase feature replaces the traditional eight position moons which were never in sync with the actual moon’s movements. Movements of the moon on this watch change day by day in keeping with the moon’s 29 1/2 cycle without having to load eight or 29-30 separate images; and, 2) It is my first totally WFD face design (sans the JB 1735 png). Many of my past efforts were “hybrids” combining precise Photoshop work with WFD.
