These days I realized that even if you do not use smarthwatch (all off: WiFi, GPS, Bluetouth, airplanemode …), it will be completely discharged in 6 hours. So I searched in the net and found that it is a problem with android 5.1. There are several solutions. These days I will try them. We hope some work.
i have the watch for 2 days now,
what i’ve found so far is that the main battery drainer is the bluetooth,
yesterday with only bluetooth on and mid brightness the watch died after 6-7 hours.
i gave it a try today and used the watch as a watch, without any wireless connection.
as for now, after 12 hours, it’s on 79%. (auto show watch when twisting is the only thing that is working)

i use my watch as a sport watch and when i turn off everything and use only the sensor it still drains the battery, as long as the sensor are active it does’nt matter what you shut off the battery will still drains. when i use 3g only without any activity only notifications (m2d which works with 3g) and just 3g on i get 24hr but when i do my sport acitivites without BT or wifi for more than 2hr i get about 10hr of usage.
I tried to reset and test the battery life without any installed application or changed settings default. (sensor pedometer active after reset to default!).
The battery has a long battery life. I stopped at 25 hours as seen in the picture, but I was only 78%.
So the blame is not of android lollipop, but of some setting or application I still have to find out. Little by little I will do some tests to find out which setting draws the battery. And I’ll let you know.

Do you use the gps for tracking distance? I want to use this watch for running, but I still haven’t found a definitive answer whether the watch tracks your distance accurately.
And how fast does the watch drain your battery with BT and gps on? Will it last 2 hours?

yes, gps works for me fine i use it with s health and Endomondo. let me check how it lasts with gps and BT on and 3g off.
anyway I found the culprit. it is Google Play service!
I did so:
1st test: after factory reset and charge full = battery life OK (more 35 hours) with wifi off
2nd test: Only installed playstore update and google play service and gmail with off sync. Off wifi and charge full battery = battery dead
only after 6 hours.
3 test : disinstallated gmail and playstore update = 6 hours
4 test : disinstallated google play service = more 24 hours, i stopped…
So the problem is in installing the play service. Only that the play service is needed for gmail, facebook, messenger and so on

How do you solve it?
You cannot “solve it” - it is managed by Google.
If you need Google apps - you are stuck with it - it is a well documented issue.
The reason we all feel it so much more is that our battery is so very small…
yes, but in this version of the android it is a problem with battery! this is incredible that i can’t unistalling it. i would like only disable the continuos use the CPU when the watch is in stand by. the google play service constantly Wake the CPU! CPU no sleep and then battery drain in 6/7 hours. i disgusted…
