Auto-update apps via " update over any network" in play store settings is already enabled, ,but the apps just Never automatically update, so I have to manually update apps whenever there are pending updates, why? how to fix it so that apps can automatically update?

This is because the playstore app goes to sleep . Like in your google assistant post

Also auto update of Google apps does not work in the stock firmware.
