Hello everybody! have not posted here in a while, but I have a question. I just replaced my Samsung Note 20 Ultra with an iPhone 16 Pro max. I also got a Apple Watch Ultra 2, but I would still like to use my Lemfo LEMT and Kospet Prime A2 with the iPhone every now and then. I did this before years ago on an iPhone 8 Plus using WiWatch. I have WiWatch 2 on my new iPhone and it actually connects to the watch, but the only thing I can get it to do is find the watch and make it beep! lol. It will not send any notifications, texts, or weather to the watch. I wish there was an Apple IOS version of Watch Droid Phone. Is there any alternative to WiWatch?
Thanks for any help anybody can give me!
Unfortunately, the answer is no. Fortunately, there are alternatives to your iPhone.
But, all jokes aside, notifications and SMS should actually work with wiwatch 2. At least this used to be the case?

Yeah, I know! lol I like both devices though. I did not have much motivation to get a new Android phone though. They seem to be almost as locked down as the Apple phones these days. The only one I was considering was the Samsung S24 Ultra, but could not find the 1TB version other than refurbished ones on Amazon. I resetup the LEMT with WiWatch 2 and it sees the watch and I can send sound to it, music, and it will monitor my heartbeat. I gave it permissions to send out notifications but I still get none. I will give the original WiWatch app a shot when I get home from work. It would be cool to still be able to use my Android watches!
Well, if my memory serves me correctly, Wiwatch 2 used a security flaw in iOS to display notifications. (This meant that notifications could be received by ANY iPhone that was nearby and paired with an Apple Watch).
Either this flaw has since been closed or you have to use the Apple Watch app on your iPhone to pair your watch. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the pairing process.

Unfortunately, I can’t find the thread on this topic right now. I seem to remember that @shuei noticed the problem first.
Thank you for your efforts and that was an interesting read! It also answers my question, and I bet you are correct, and Apple has closed the security flaw a long time ago. In other words, I am not going to be able to use my Android watches fully with the iPhone. Wiwatch 2 has apparently not been updated since 2021 so it is apparently not being supported by the developer anymore. Disappointed but not really surprised!

Just so you know, I have not given up on this! There are actually several apps that are used to connect watches to iPhones and Android phones and I am going to try as many as I can! The last one I tried was called Gloryfit but I had no luck! There is a lot of off brand smart watches on Amazon and I would bet a lot of them come from the same factory overseas as Kospet, Lemfo, and some of these other brands. Maybe the hardware in one of my watches will be similar enough to get it to work. As much as I love my Apple Watch, I would still like to have options and use my Android ones!! If I have any luck I will keep every posted!!

After re-pairing the Lemfo LEMT with WiWatch 2, it works on my iPhone at least in a limited way. I get text messages on the watch but cannot figure how to format them. Still have had no luck with the Kospet prime A2.
