I have been on here from time to time awhile back. I have owned a DM100, DM101, Lem14, Kospet Optimus 2, and LEM16. I no longer have any active devices. the DM100 was too big, the DM101 was outdated compared the the newer options out there, etc. I have been looking since my watch was destroyed last summer to purchase a new watch, but it seems like nothing new has come out. I would love something new, it seems like companies are just selling remaining stock of what was built before. If anyone knows of anything new that has come out, or will be coming out I would love to hear about it.
The LEM16, APPLLP 2 pro, and APPLLP 4 pro (same hardware) are the newest I’ve seen.
The Optimus 2 is still available and I see the occasional LEM 14 and 15 on Ali Express.
That’s right. I’m sure new models will follow that are worth buying. The topic of fullandroid watches is not dead yet.
For example, NFC is being worked on that can also be used for payments-Terminals can be used. We will let you know when there is new news to report.
There is a company called Tapster who sell NFC payment accessories. I signed up to this app called Curve and linked my Curve card to the Tapster bracelet. Now my FAW has contactless payment like other smartwatches!
I know about Tapster, it’s awesome! but they only support Fidesmo within Europe and I live in South America, so my only option is using Google Wallet
Thanks for all the comments. I liked my Optimus 2, It unfortunately sustained physical damage. I also really liked the DM101 that I had when i had flashed A10 onto it, but my band broke on that one(Its integrated with the antenna and I could not fix it).
I think I will hold out a little longer and see if anything new pops up. I have my wear OS watches(Ticwatch 3 pro Ultra, Samsung Pro 4 LTE). They just don’t have the stand alone capability to video call, etc, but I rarely use those features at this point anyways.
google fit, google maps, google voice, google meet, google chat, google messages, google files, google drive, Gmail, google tasks, keep, google calendar, google assistant, google contacts, google photos, google translate, and google gallery work fine on my LEM 16. only thing I had an issue with was google clock.
Overall it has been smooth sailing with apps on it.
If it only had a 1200-1600 mah battery I’d be in heaven
To go to imperial settings I’m guessing I need Gao Fit? Thanks for the information as well. I wish I had the international firmware, but the watch looks well built.
