Android smart watch TK6 ultra watchfaces

where from ?

i only ask because they seem to be all over the place on the asian e-retailers, and the specs seem to vary

i think they must be manufactured by ‘valdus’, an oem manufacturer/retailer, at least according to the DW88/89 reviews posted on smartwatch ticks website

This one has a completely different chip, SL8541E, supposedly runs android 13.1 and has a large battery in the region of 9000ma. The DW88/89 is not even in the same ballpark. I ordered mine from here… Link deleted

9000 mah? Are you really believe in bullshit like this??? My Samsung z flip has 3600 mah!!!

And the rest of the information is also nonsense.
I would like to ask everyone not to sell the information provided by the sellers here as truth without checking it. Have you checked the information, for example with an app like “device info”?
Excellent, then we look forward to publishing it. Otherwise it is negligent misleading. Or even wanton???

OK… apologies I mis-typed its 900mah. I have already seen this watch examined with Device info… but what i will do is do it myself and post it on here. laterz

This 900mah battery is completely fake.
The camera is 2mp.
The watch runs Android 8.1
It has a fake settings app to make it show what they want you to see.
Battery is 700mah.
Screen is not amoled.

4G does not work in most cases.
It does not run normal watch faces unless you use UL and installing that is extremely difficult because you need a third party developer settings app to set permissions.
Even then, R/W permissions are messed up on the storage.

Apart from these little problems, it is nice “looking” device

Here is a shot from device info, which I think speaks volumes…lol

Good luck.

Yikes !

I will do the honorable thing, and post what I find…

i think this chip max’s out at bluetooth 4.2 as well, at least that’s what the unisoc site seems to say, but nevertheless, i’ll be interested to see your review video, particularly on it’s speed and ‘lagginess’

for the price i doubt we can expect to much, and so long as it covers my relatively simple use cases i’ll be happy, it’s biggest plus to me will be the rectangular screen, i’m with apple, round screen’s are dopey on smartwatch’s, especially full androind ones, (when did you last see a round smartphone !)

Honestly as far as my experience goes with the tk6 ultra ones I’d say it’s rlly good the battery time is also pretty good as well it can even last up to almost 2 days (depends on your usage) also it is pretty fast watch also has accurate pedometer (I did 10 steps it would register 1 less which is common and happens even in good watches) it is a 5G watch but my sim is 4G and I can assure that 4G does work since I checked it and has 60hz display from what I can see altho the android versions used in these watched are android go edition that is what sucks since android go editions have stripped settings so you do not have much freedom. Overall mines is good my experience has been really well…

thanks, these are the only full android watch’s coming through at the moment, so a more in depth review of the models is of more use to me than just ‘avoid’

If u rlly want an android watch not that expensive then rather than the watch in the video if tk6 ultra is available in ur country u should buy it its better than that at least.

I believe the TK6 is not so bad.
Can you attach the device hardware info for this one please?
I believe the board is from the same solution provider that we work with.

Cheers

Yeah, but at least you were not lied to about the Android version.
Bullshitting about the storage size is actually quite rare these days.
Are you sure you didn’t miss the option to select the storage size when you ordered?
It’s a drop down menu and unless you use it, it defaults to the standard, lowest size option to keep the price down.
What does device info say about the storage size?
Sounds like 32gb.
The rest of the storage which shows up as used, will be the OS installation and the other stuff you have installed.
Because it is all on one flash chip.

The box says 4+64 and this is what device and hw info says

Something seems a bit fishy tbh in the video the guy has like 20% used storage but for me I have like most of the storage used by the system. Wait I deleted 1.56GB of data and the storage went from 80% to 70% lmao

Btw does anyone of you all know a good app I can pair up with my smart watch to use shake to wake up or smthing like that

i think it’s worth pointing out the vid smartwatch ticks has recently released on the zeblaze thor ulttra, that uses the unisoc 8541E, and the implementation looks great, screen very fluid, it also claims to be amoled, and with a long battery life, (which i’ve seen ‘confirmed’ in another review)

the point being, that these chips can be used for a decent smartwatch at a very good price, that’s not to say every single implementation is going to be worthwhile, but that some will fit the bill for a lot of us, so if somebody has more information about the factors we should be looking for that would be worth knowing in my opinion

Very true @Ted
It’s just a shame to see so many half assed solutions for the chipset.
Nothing wrong with it at all.
It’s the bloody terrible firmware and board designs that screw it up.

The Zeblaze does look better than most for sure.
I’ll find out more about it after the Chinese spring festival.

@Xyberdude your storage should be 16gb.
God knows what they have done to mess it up so badly.
All I can say is yet again, it’s why we have nothing to do with them.
Sorry mate.

Ikr the chipsets in these watches are not so bad basically just the ones used in mobile phones and well, they are mobile phones with big screens less ram, less storage but these watches, small screen, more ram, more storage yet they gave them such a terrible firmware, like why? I don’t understand did they even try giving it a non stripped android firmware or not.
