Has anyone tried another launcher, like Nova launcher on these watches?
I use nova on my phone.
I currently use Universal Launcher.
I tried Nova, however I like UL much better!
Your post gave me an idea to try some, so I gave a shot to Nova and Evie. They’re functional, but personally I see no point in using them unless you want to do away with a watchface altogether and have the app icons displayed right off.
In case you use another launcher, you can try the my Clockskin wallpaper. But you’ll need to be able to use animated wallpaper…
Cool. Yea I figured it wouldn’t be the best experience but definitely curious. I guess you could a a clock widget to the home screen, no?
Maybe even resize the widget. Could be neat.
Maybe I’ll give it a try just for fun. Well I guess this is all for fun.
I had the day off yesterday and hardly stopped playing with my phone and watch. My gf was like are you going to put those down?.. Haha I said, I’ve been dreaming of this (watch) since I was 10 years old. I’m in full obsession mode for a bit. It’ll fade at some point…
I was dreaming yesterday about Android Q and all upgraded hardware one of these days, but it’ll never be like the first one.
Hey Eric, I’m curious why there are no watch faces with tap shortcuts. Any thoughts?
I found one that allows for tap chronograph that actual works. Very cool. But why not a tap certain area for app shortcut?
Ask Tim Collins about “floating launcher”.
The clockskin format is limited for now for tap function and i have not tried to implement more on this format. For tap function i use the watchmaker faces that are much more evolved…
Alright. So basically someone could implement shortcuts on the watch face, although no one is doing it yet
I just found a nice quick launcher. So far very good.
Hey that’s cooooooool!
Been using all day and do not see any noticeable battery drain and it keeps working without an issue.
This watch is soooo awesome!
I tried this on my Optimus Pro and it works like a dream, thanks!
Hi, does anybody still have this launcher?
Really COOL what you’ve done with it!!!

Never tried it so no idea if any good
I’ll give it a try.
Check and if it’s good I’ll feedback with details.
Thanks for the upload men!
Well well well…
I gotta say, this app is really great. It give us a side, rotative, carousel-style apps/shortcuts menu, which is kinda beautiful for our most-used apps. And is really easy to use and to configure.
I really loved it from the first time.
The only two/three cons I could find, is:
-Discontinued support (but this happens not only with this one, but with all carousel-menu apps I was able to find)
-Limited up to 15 apps only to show
-Infinite scroll not allowed -can be very difficult to tap on the edge apps
I searched for similar apps out there, to see what I can find, and I discovered one called Circle Sidebar, which seems to be even better, on many ways, than this. But the problem is, like I’ve said before, that has no further support beyond 2018. That involves a license message bug on the config menu which uses to appear randomly sometimes, and the only way to fix it I can found was by deleting cache and internal storage space used by the app.
The good thing is you can previously make a backup of the database and apps configured on it and use it again later.
But aside this, is a perfect app for his purpose.
You can also configure instant access to the main android shortcuts (like Hotspot, Bluetooth, wifi, Airplane mode, etc)
I’ll probably make a separate post to this app, in order to make it more “searchable” for others users too.
You can try universal launcher v4, because I see most people in this group still don’t know about it and are still using v3, v4 UI at least don’t look like something from android 4.4 which it is because the v3 min API is still 4.4, and allot of other improvement is made
It is true that Universal Launcher v4 includes some improvements, but it should be noted that it only works on rectangular Android 8 watches.
I can’t remember why I refused to use UL some time ago… I supposed it was some related to watchfaces or similar; I’m going to give it a new try then…
Edit: I’ve already remembered, due to the partial compatibility with most of the standard watchfaces/clockskins I actually have.
