Advice about my new D5 please.

My watch arrived today but things aren’t going as I’d thought:

  • when I opened the (sealed) box the watch back was off
  • I only had 3 screws (and 4 spares)
  • it was on charge for more than 3 hours before I turned it on
  • during the 3 hours the face showed a flashing battery image
  • the red line (charge?) on the battery never moved
  • I unplugged it, pressed the button but nothing happened
  • I plugged it back in, pressed the button but nothing happened
  • I pressed the button for 5 seconds and got a No 1 image
  • then nothing
    Has anybody got any thoughts?

I’ve just completed the fiddly job of putting the back (back) on… looks like it’s charging, now showing 63%… and the video was GREAT… :slight_smile: Thank you both…
