A new watch is needed, after the summer... What to buy now?

There is a new Android 7.1.1 version coming to replace the original Prime.
Kospet are looking at an Android 10 version of this as well.
It will have a 1.6 screen.

I understand that manufacturers are increasing the screen size because you will be surprised how many big screen smartwatches like LEMT and Ticwris Max they have sold in huge quantity.

There is a new Kospet Power Android 7.1.1.

Square screen?
New model will be smaller than the Ticwris Max.
The Ticwris MAX S will be a little smaller.

The majority of the round watches will keep the 1.6" 400x400 screen.

Amoled will be less and less available as it is seen to be too small

I will move all these posts as they are nothing to do with Prime 2 support.

The new Kospet Power is like LEMFO LEM 12 without the numbers off the bezel:

Yes I know.
I just haven’t opened the thread yet

It’s already on my arm…

I refuse to post anything until I know 100 % what is real and what is not

Ticwris Max S could be fine if it makes my dream come true the first square amoled smartwatch no one has do yet!

Amoled? Why would it be amoled…?
Not being strange but they won’t be doing that

Amoled because for years I have dreamed of an Omate TrueSmart amoled or simply a square amoled smartwatch. No manufacturer has made one!

You forget the notification bar at the top like a real smartphone for me it should be like this on all square smartwatches

I agree. but since the most popular are round smartwatch, there is less tempting to enable notifications bar.
Also creating new UI just for square smartwatch must be took many effort by wiiteer so they make it all the same except few thing hw dependant like touchscreen (LCM), camera and HRM.

Yep, that’s about right :+1:

Is it possible to put a normal android like the one found on the Google Pixels and put it without changing anything in a square smartwatch?
We will see very small but that would be cool!

With mt6739 it’s possible. Since we have the almost complete wiiteer source thanks to @deadman96385 and others. Also @iscle is working with android 10 right now.

Very small font? I am not sure since the newer android framework quite flexible, like you can change the text size and display size from small to very large.

But i don’t know if it will be aosp, lineage, or any version since they were not sharing progress or the like about their work with Android 10 in this forum.
