Hi there. I’m pretty new in this world of smartwatches. Recently I got a D5+ which seems powerful. But I need to upgrade the firmware in order to use it in square screen mode.
The fact is that OTA says up-to-date while I’m not. And during some days I won’t be able to access any windows PC to make it from there.
Is there any way to flash the firmware directly from the watch, apart from the OTA?
Hi, you can go to the firmware support section there are several posts about how to flash new firmware to your watch. You can also watch the video tutorial.

if the watch is up to date then check through settings in display if you have the option and also long press the key for few seconds will get you there.

Thks smith. I'll take another look at firmware sections. I did it already but I couldn't find anything specific about flashing directly from the watch using a file or so.

Thks soniasophie9697. The firmware installed right now is 161124 and says up to date. But actually it’s not cause the official support webpage has a 161229 to be downloaded.

I know how to do it using a Windows computer. The problem is I’m traveling, far away from my computer for a several days. So, the best would be if I was able to do it directly in the watch, without PC connection. Is there any way?
I saw that in the watch, just in the OTA update menu there is an option to flash from a local file. But I’d like to know if previous experiences before going this way. Thanks again.
