I also formatted the whole watch and flashed the finow x5+ rom again. With doing no adaption in the Software and settings + don’t installed something else I have the same issue.
And I have done this procedure with each version.

I wrote it already in the previous post that I have Finow X5+ Firmware on the LEMFO Lem5 watch, which isn’t the same as the KW88 which got mentioned everytime.
To the Screenshots: i have there only a big sos Button and the restart and power off one. Not more.
Also I wrote in my last post already about the scaling… And in my previous posts how I solved this issue at the first version already sometimes which isn’t possible anymore…
Yeah, I was a bit concerned when I read that as you have probably lost your IMEI number now. Have you checked?
Anyway, I will install the latest launcher on mine and see what happens
Have you tried changing the font size? If you use google gesture search or settings search from the play store you can go to display settings and change it
as I like a "normal" font size and not the big one from the default settings

Note:
The settings page where is the button “open Skin Prefs” only shows as nice if I choose a normal font size. If I choose the default one, it looks like the option page before.
As you also can see the watch face seems to goes into the apps and the apps gets cut.
Also on the screenshot you see that I have the correct mode activated.
A little information: if I keep it like that for a few tests, the Launcher aborts itself, as he seems also that he can’t handle it.
Meanwhile I’m dusting mine off for testing. As soon as I turned it on there was a 9mb OTA dated march this year so I am installing that. I don’t know if both Finow and Lemfo got the OTA but it’s there…

As it worked with no version, this time I didn’t formatted and flashed the rom again as I assume that it don’t help if it doesn’t helps the last 4 times
It only looks like the square mode to me...
I haven't any possibility to set other options as the ones already mentioned.
And it worked in your first version also. Until I restartet the watch, then I had to delete the tmp Folder, install the launcher again and then it runs until the next restart.
I can only change the setting for third party apps. And if I would have set it, it would affect all apps regarding square mode, which isn't the case.
So something is running wrong.

The only problem I have with UL ng is the battery drain but this is most probably from “bright hand” gesture.
ricktop: about that drain - you said you are aiming for 3s and get like 10s or so. Did you try aiming for 10s? (maybe the value you pass is substracted from the one set in settings? a bit longshot but… ). One more thing: this setting might be protected at OS level and can be changed only by system apps. In this case only moving UL ng to /system partition would solve the problem. Someone with rooted watch can test this.
Last resort would be to ask firmware authors to add 5sec timeout to Display settings (hi pablo11 )

Sure. That's just as Proof of Concept nothing more.
Ricktop and I will be meeting with the firmware guys in a couple of days so we can raise some issues then - if we need to.
