I wish you guys would learn how to use your watches properly before posting bug reports here when there really isn't a bug.  On the Finow X5+, go to Settings->Interface Style-> and set your Third-Party application interface to the ROUND option.  Then reboot the watch and Clockskin will work perfectly.

Maybe before starting, the launcher can be forced to switch to a round? And then according to the settings?

It seems that with the launcher I have 2 options on sound. 1 silence mode and 1 vibrate mode. In Both cases I donā€™t have sound and when I tried to change it manual it doesnā€™t accept it. Kw88 user. Any suggestions?

Hi Eric,

Mi Feedback after 3 days of ā€œnon-stopā€ usage on both KW88 and S99 watches. Using 2.1.4 version.

On Kw88: WiFi, wrist movement and sound enabled. after 26 hours without charging: battery = 18%
On S99: same features enabled. after 27 hours of continous usage with no charging: Battery 14%

My conclusion is that your launcher is not causing the battery drain issue.

On both watches, when I inserted a simcard and enabled cellphone feature, battery drained in about 2 or 3 hours.

About .watch support, last version has improved a lot! congrats!. Still some .watch features not working properly.

Could you please include in your next realease the calc and stopwatch apks you developed in the past as a part of your launcher (integrated)? maybe as plug-ins or widgets? It is just a suggestionā€¦

Iā€™ll keep testing your launcher and let you now. No .crash generated yet.

To all folks having problems and crashes: My recommendation is to perfomr a full clean install as I mentioned in a prevous post.

Thqnks q lot Eric.Indeed i was using the 1.1.8 version .Now with the 2.1.4 is perfect.Any idea why my pedometer stops working after 10 minutes?

Really interesting video. Never seen this in the notification window, itā€™s like you have a notification menu but without any notification.

Naturely when you click on this, you crash the App with the usual crash file that youā€™ve already sent many times and i know understand itā€¦ After restart the app is ā€œhealedā€ for sure.

The question is really how do you get this strange notificationā€¦ Iā€™l trying to play with langage, i must admit i always select french or english but thatā€™s allā€¦ Keep on digging this issue. Thanks


Hi ricktop , I had no problem with the last version 2.1.4 till yesterday evening as my watch was running into the empty battery. Well Iā€™ve loaded it over the night and the first thing I saw today on early afternoon was the old set of problems - I could not change skins, I got no notifications and my widgets (weather and step counter) were there but they got no updates. So I used the ā€œtrickā€ mentioned above, I mean, I changed the language to English and waited a little bit (while the watch was connected with my smartphone) till it changed automatically back to German. At this moment I went to ā€œno notificationsā€ and saw this ā€œarrowā€ to an empty notification. So I got the permission question and after that the launcher was working again. As usuall I upload some crash files, pls find attached. Smth new for you? Pls pay attention that some of them were catched in the night (battery empty), and the rest after on early afternoon.

UPD. Well, all these logs are pretty the same and they explain that the launcher was unable to invoke StatusBarNotification - the launcer got something lost because of the empty battery and could not heal itself after that?

Hello yawa, I am glad you also reported this issue, because it is the same issue that I reported before and also some other persons in this forum.  So when the battery of your watch was empty it shuts down completely.  When that happens and you start up your watch again, for some reasons the launcher shows the problems you reported here above. I did not chance language like you did, but I reinstalled the launcher and then everything worked fine again. So far I did not get any feedback from ricktop that he can reproduce this on his watch. Could you please reply on this, ricktop ?

Well, I think, I have all these problems since the very first 2.x version - we have already mentioned them several times here. IMHO they can occure not only when the watch is running out of battery, but in some other cases as well. The log files we have posted here and our tests show that it's something about "unregistering" of some events or the launcher gets lost some permissions. AFAIK Eric could not find the reason yet for this behaviour. My experience was that the reinstall of the launcher could help but not every time. This trick with a language helped me several times. Next time I would try to set back applplication standards ... Let's see if it helps.

Hi guys, I have a problem with this launcher. I install any versions, and put into the folder ā€œclockskinā€ one face in .watch. My KW88 donĀ“t work, any suggestion?? I unisntall EricĀ“s launcher 1.1.8 and install clockskincoco 2.1.2 , 2.1.3 or 2.1.4. Please help me, regards.

  3. hit WatchclockSkin

  9. open file manager and check there is no WatchTmp folder. If there, delete it.

  10. Reboot your watch

  11. Install 2.x.x launcher as always

  12. Set it as admin and activate it.

  13. reboot your watch

  14. set launcher as default

  15. Enjoy!!!

remember to press and hold power button until power off/reboot options appear. then make sure the little watch at the top says ā€œFullā€.
