Do you have any plans on implementing “current location” weather? (just asking!
)
If you mean by “current location”, the GPS location, so no i’m not planning this.
I think there is an API that can return “current location” based on BTS (actually based on whatever you choose in system Location settings - BTS only, BTS and WiFi, BTS and WiFi and GPS).
I meant something like pre-installed weather app is doing. Nothing fancy
I found a bug (Ive mentioned it earllier but I didn’t have trace then).
From the quicksettings I long tap on BT icon to get to settings, then switched on bt tethering to my phone and finally swiped back to quicksettings view. At this point I could switch left and right (to launcher menu and battery, cell and bt info) but I was unable to swipe up to watch face. Trace attached
This is another quick update regarding the battery consumption on the Finow X5+. Using version 2.1.4, the rate of discharge seems to have stabilized and I still have 50% charge after 24 hours. I’m not sure why the discharge rate seems to have slowed down, but I’m happy.
When I test the battery discharge rate I simply install ricktop’s latest launcher and load my favorite watch face which has 6 hands and a moon phase indicator. I turn on wireless and bluetooth and have the watch tethered to my Android phone thru bluetooth via the Watch Helper app supplied by Finow
which sends all notifications from my phone to the watch. I then turn off the screen and let the watch sit idle. Then I check the watch for the remaining charge every 4-8 hours. I do not have a SIM card inserted which likely explains why I get such a good discharge rate.
Please, correct 2.1.4 version for No.1 D5 with 360x360 screen. In 2.1.3 face was correct, but in 2.1.4 the font was very large, the images and icons moved to the right and down. Cannot be used, returned to 2.1.3

Oh so it’s more like artificial test than actual usage
Thank you very much
N.

Running 2.1.4 on my D5 without issue, and there’s no such change between 2.1.3 and 2.1.4
Yes. Having a controlled environment is the only way to accurately conduct such a test. I also test without a SIM card for two reasons. One, because many other watches don’t support a SIM card and two, because I already have a great phone and prefer to use it instead of the phone built into my watch.
Dear, Ricktop
How to make the application system, if you put your application com.ricktop.ClockSkinCoco.apk in a folder /system/priv-app in Android 4.4.2, then it can’t start and fails with a critical error
I have noticed some interesting thing. Several times I was talking about a bug that I couldn’t change the skin after restart,(the old skin stays instead the one I choose) so I needed to force stop launcher and after that I can change skins. Today I have noticed new situation. First I need to mention that I use my watch with sim card. When I put the phone in Airplane Mode and I restart it I have no problems with changing skins. But when I’m back from Airplane to normal mode (after I type sim pin) the problem with changing skins comes back.
I’ve noticed a minor problem with 31 day arrays not being drawn correctly. There is a dot that represents a calendar day that isn’t being drawn. Here are screenshots of what’s happening. The first image is rendered using WatchMaker and displays correctly.
Day 31 is printed in the above array, but not in the array rendered by 2.1.4.
This image is being rendered by 2.1.4. Notice that day 30 is printed but not 31, and the missing dot for day 31:

I had a similar issue: Not being able to change faces unless I restarted the watch after every attempt to change one. I reinstalled the app 2.1.4 and it's working fine now.
And for the sake of clarification, I’m using a Lemfos Les1.

No clue what happened overnight. Yesterday and after reinstalling the launcher my troubles when changing faces had gotten away, but now I am having the same issue again; I must reboot the phone for the face to change to the new selected one.
I have seen this reported by someone else. Is there a permanent fix? Lemfo Les 1.
