One small bug (which exists since version 2.0):
When I use the ‘array_hourminute’ tag in a skin, the double point/colon between the hour and minute numbers is not blinking (which was the case with older versions, like version 1.1.8).
how the battery life
I have the impression the battery life is less than before...
Will try to pay attention to this in the coming days.

My watch didn't want to show notifications, I could not change skins and so on ... for a long time, no "healing" effect. Well, I swiped once to "no notifications" and saw suddenly this blue arrow over the word "no notifications" which is usually showed at some normal notification. You know, in order to go to "open", "dismiss" and so on. So well, I tapped on it and I got at this moment some permission requirement for the Launcher. After that everything worked again! Hmmm .... There was no trace file with a corresponding timestamp.
Yeah, I could catch the video for this issue. BTW, the last thing I've done before was change language. I wanted to record a small deinstall / install video and this should be in english BTW x2 - why I can't change the language for ever?! It returns to German (in my case) itself after a while, even without restart the watch!
Hi Eric, I’m not a young man so I need sometimes my glasses (or I need to put them off
) in order to read the notification, because you use a smaller font size than in the stock launcher. And the problem is that I can’t adjust the font size, because the standard option in settings -> display -> font size doesn’t affect the notification font size. Could you pls add an option or fix that, ricktop ? Many thx in advance!
Hello guys! Some users have asked about “how to deinstall the launcher” and “how to install” and so on. Some of you had different options regarding the steps during the new installation (“open” or just “ok” and so on). So I’ve recorded a small “how to” video: I have deinstalled the previous version and installed the next one. Let’s take a look - did I everything as you would? Any suggestions / hints?
Next post: three minutes after installing the new version I’ve heard my watch vibrating. All right, there was really a new notification on my smartphone. Well, I turn it on and I see the same - “no notifications”. Test changing the skin - negativ. Well, and the language is back to German again (in my previous post it was still English)… Hmmm … Sorry, it still doesn’t work
I’ve just found a couple of trace files which were created during my “exercises”. By occasion, because I could not see them after connecting the watch with my desktop. But I’ve just detected directly on the watch that there were more trace files there as I could see in the desktop explorer. Strange. Well, I’ve copied them all in the download folder and zipped. ricktop , smth interesting for you?
I did a fresh reinstall of 2.1.4 and no longer have the battery drain that I noticed last night on my Finow X5+. Not sure what caused it last night but things are running great today.

Look at 1:58 of above video. That’s what I’d tried to explain in my lengthy post couple of days ago (I don’t have camera and shooting video from phone w/o tripod seemed like a bad idea).
You clicked on “Open” and I was proposing to click on “Done”. This should (probably after asking for notification permissions) put you back to original launcher. Now press hardware button and you should be presented with screen on which you choose launcher and decide “always”/“just once”. Of course choose “Always” and WatchClockSkin.
I’ve updated from 2.1.3 to 2.1.4 this morning using above steps and I’ve got no problems with changing faces, bright/dim selection, etc also notifications wake up watch and show text of notification (as it should be) (and I’m all to your request to change size of fonts there I don’t always have my reading glasses on! )
As for the language it looks like it’s closely tied to what you have on phone. As long as I had english no mine - watch was in english too. When I switched to Polish on my phone soon my watch switched languages too (and any change to this is more or less temporal)
2.1.4 works flawlesly (please note what I wrote above) Battery drain is on par with 2.1.3 ie a bit more that I find comfortable using only bt tether (airplane mode on, wifi off, gps off, widgets for S Health and Extreme Alarm Clock – so they keep running mostly) I got like 10 hrs top.
Just a quick update on the battery consumption using version 2.1.4 on the Finow X5+. I’m dropping to 60% battery after 12 hours which is still significantly higher than previous versions. At the current discharge rate, I will be lucky to get 24-26 hours of usage.
Under 2.1.2 and earlier versions I was getting 48+ hours before needing a recharge.

Hello ricktop, I have installed version 2.1.4 and the issue with the ZIP files is indeed solved ! Great job ! Also my notifications are shown and the weather tag is updated. Best version so far for my watch (Domino DM368).

Hello ricktop, I have noticed something strange with version 2.1.4.
Like I said here above, after I freshly installed version 2.1.4 everything worked perfectly: notifications are shown when they come in, weather and temperature tags are updated regularly, switching skins is OK, ...
Now last night, I shut down my watch (I have no need for it when I sleep, so also no need to keep it running).
This morning I started it up again and I gave it some time to boot. After startup of my watch, I only started WiiWear on my phone to connect to my watch, which he did.
When I looked after 15-20 minutes to my watch, I have noticed that the weather still wasn't updated and also the battery tag was "frozen" (it displayed another level than the battery tag on the window you see when you swipe the skin down). I waited for another hour or so, but the situation didn't change. So I then uninstalled the launcher and freshly reinstalled it (again version 2.1.4). After doing that, everything worked again perfectly !
So it appears that something goes wrong in the launcher when shutting down the watch and rebooting it.
I believe that also other people on this forum have noticed there is a difference in behavior after a fresh reinstall or after a reboot of the watch ...
Can you please take a look at this ?
As said before, I have a Domino DM368 with android 5.1 (dutch version), kernel version 3.10.72 and build number DMNSB_GSM_V1.2.0_20170223.

Really interesting video. Never seen this in the notification window, it’s like you have a notification menu but without any notification.
Naturely when you click on this, you crash the App with the usual crash file that you’ve already sent many times and i know understand it… After restart the app is “healed” for sure.
The question is really how do you get this strange notification… I’l trying to play with langage, i must admit i always select french or english but that’s all… Keep on digging this issue. Thanks
Check the default language of your watch. I have samo problems after my watch changed language to Macedonian. Because of cyrillic characters skin was showing test instead date.
I have put English - everything has begun to show correctly. It is visible localization of skins bad.

Probably watchface problems but doesn’t hurt to report
Do you have any plans on implementing “current location” weather? (just asking!
)
Best regards

Many thanks for your comment, nameless! I’ve expected your remark (“ok” instead of “open”) and well, I’ll try to follow your steps next time. Let’s see what happens And thank you for explaining the language issue - I think, it’s true and it is the reason that the language is synchronising between the phone and the watch.
