Yesterday I felt bravado and updated your launcher instead of clean install and I must say that that there was no problem at all . Widgets survived both update and restarts.
Another plus is that notification now show up correctly (watch wakes up display and shows notification instead of watchface). Apart from battery drain when using wrist gesture Iām very satisfied (well Iāve beenā¦ more on this in a moment
). I even left BT on for the night (tethered to my phone for data) and lost like 3% of battery.
I found one skin that prevented me from double-tap to enter the menu (the one with dim/bright etc) - radial-weather-for-360.watch (tap-n-hold works ok just the double tap not)
For a moment I thought that Iāve found a way do diagnose that watchfaces not displaying properlyā¦ But this created around 20 trace files in under 20 minutes
(all identical) Itās called the-definitive-one-for-round-watch (this probably bad xml cause traces complain about ArrayList )
When I choose this one display blinked all white for a while and turned black. I can swipe down to battery info and launcher settings, left to apps, up to widgets and I even get notifcations normally (itās tad slow to react but works). Only the watch fragment is totally black (with occasional blink of all white). Canāt double tap, canāt tap-n-hold. Only way I see now is to uninstall (hm I might remove that wathface and see what will explode
I do have 2 more traces (java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to destroy activity {com.ricktop.ClockSkinCoco/com.ricktop.ClockSkinCoco.MainActivity}: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Receiver not registered: com.ricktop.ClockSkinCoco.QuickSettingsSystemConfigFragment$2@3e6a59e9). They were dumped todays morning (roughly when I woke up and probably were fiddling with settings) but I did not notice any odd beavior then.
And one idea for improvement: brightness icon has three states (0%, 50% and 100%) would it be possible to add two additional (25% and 75%)? When outdoor 0% makes it unusable and 50% is a bit too much (battery wise) so something in between would be nice (I know I can change this in settings but it only sticks till next change using brightness icon).

Edit:
I just noticed that itās not blink of whiteā¦ Itās like I have now white fragment in the center with black fragments above, below and on both sides (like cross with white center). From that white center if I swipe down twice I get quicksettings, two swipes up I get to white another two swipes I see widgets (same goes when I want to get to app list or notifications)
