Universal Launcher New Generation [2.3 and above]

When I install Universal Launcher I get same of problem. Problem is when restarting my watch “Android is starting” appear and I am waiting about 10 minutes for the opening . Now I haven’t installed this app yet. İs there the same problem with app?

I think that I might not fully understand. In my case restart is fast and I see that message very occasionally. This looks more like system issue and not related to launcher. Tried factory reset?
What watch do you have? Have you checked for OTA update?
What is your firmware version?

Fine work. Finally a nice launcher on my KW88.
I like the “Scaling value” and “Reset skin” functions a lot. This makes a lot of sense.

hi, some of the faces i use does not work, they open with a black screen when i use them or sometimes not centred, dont know if the problem is in the launcher or is my watch.this one is an example face that open a black screen

My firmware is Z10-YFZ-V08-20170608

I installed the 2.3.1 version of the clockskin on my Thor after completing the battery tests and doing a factory reset. 2 of the watchfaces I had installed and worked with 2.2.7 do not display properly so I just deleted them and use the many others that do work ok. Really like the new features with 2.3.1. Thanks

Another issue that crops up periodically is, the inability to change watchfaces. When I double tap it vibrates but does not change. Usually it takes a reboot to correct. But currently it is stuck and will not change after two reboots. Will play with it to see what will work.

Tried switching launchers back to the standard using Home Switch but did not help, still stuck.

I give up for the time being. Went back to 2.2.7 and everything works fine. Battery life appears to be better also.

The launcher is working fine on my D5, the "square" screen feature as ricktop stated was to help in reaching the corners of an app where further actions (menu, settings) are required, so it shouldn't be a permanent set, but as needed basis. If your watch face is not centred, switch to "Round" screen (swiping top-downwards when in launcher homepage, swipe left twice) and then restart for a fix.

As for watch faces opening with blank screen, as ricktop also stated, ensure the clockskin files ARE NOT in subfolder in the zip file (it is inaccessible).
For a fix:
Extract the watch face file (christmas-blizzard.zip) to watch face name folder.
Within the folder (christmas-blizzard), select all and select “add to archive” (winzip/winrar prog).
It automatically takes the folder name (christmas-blizzard).
Save as .zip not .rar
Copy the newly created watch face to “clockskin” folder on the internal storage.

Got a question for you. If I try swiping down from the very top edge down, I pull the native notifications screen. I tried disabling the native launcher, but even then it still does this (even after reboots). Any recommendations on what I might need to disable/freeze? I will try on an older version to see if this exists.

So I found a solution to the dragging from the top/notification pulldown (that worked for me anyway). I installed 2.2.7 first, tested to see if the notification pulldown still opened (it didn’t), then installed 2.3.1 after confirming. Now I can pull from the top and the native notification shade does not come down. YMMV.

The only issue is that the top pixels appear to be either frozen or stuck. If anyone knows how to resolve this and can share how they corrected this, that would be appreciated.

Be careful this only works for clockskin, here we’re talking of .watch face. This one is not supported (yet) by the engine…

The others worked perfectly , is there something to do?

I have a quick question. In the launcher, I have activated “hand bright screen” on but when I turn the wrist noting happens. In the settings, the function “palming bright screen” is unmarked, is this the problem?
I have a Q7

If the palming is activated, it drains my battery

Sudden discovery - the watchface becomes corrupted and unchangeble as soon i insert the sim card in my I4 smartwatch!!! I can scroll left right and up and down though and select the nessesary action. Only can not reselect another watchface. If the sim is taken out the functionality is restored

2.3.1 finow x5 plus.
After rebooting, until I select a skin, nothing not updated. No steps, no phase of the moon, no battery. The last time did not update the date and time.

is there any option to center it?
