wow this is a pretty long discussion with a lot of information.
I got also a (branded) TICWRIS MAX S and I am wondering which is the lastest Android I can flash via USB. Also, I am interested in the safety, is this Android secure?
Check and report which version of firmware you have at the moment.
This is important because some of these are MTK and some of the more recent are running unisoc/sprd firmware.

the issue is that the watch has a special firmware on it and does not let me into the settings, thus why I would like to hard flash it with an actual Android version, and of course use the newest one
As I said before, you need to tell me what version of firmware you are currently using on your watch.

OK, finaly was able to read out the watch, here are the current versions:
fw-version: WB_3501_WK_V1.3_20230220
android-version: 7.1.1

@ThomasV Good news - I have found the stock version you have and I will upload it shortly.
Maybe tomorrow.
Bad news is that I am unsure if you can flash any other DM101 firmware on it due to screen type difference and board changes between the 2020 original and this 2023 version.
