Stop Background apps working inquiry

Hi,

I have a KW99 and occasionally see the screen which says something like, ‘Your backgrounds apps are not working, do you want to restart them’.

I use the Universal Launcher and the normal other apps BT to my Note 8.

Would I benefit by starting the background apps or keep them stopped?
