Could very well be the case. I reset the apps, but it didn’t help much. So I tested the sender app on my old Nexus 10 tablet running stock 5.1.1 and here it works as it is supposed to.

Hello everyone
A new forum member here. Recently bought a Finow X5 Plus, really been enjoying it. This forum has been invaluable with suggestions, problem solving and great apps. I am using the M2D app over the 3G network, connecting my phone and watch. I seem to have two issues with M2D receiver though, firstly it does not receive messages when the screen is off (I have set Google services to unrestricted background data with Gestures); and more serious if I open the open on the smartwatch, using the smartwatch layout option, when I receive messages I am unable to scroll between them, and worse I am not able to scroll across to the reply bubble for the messages. Weirdly it works fine on a phone I tested (with smartwatch layout enabled) just not on the Finow X5 Plus.
Has anyone encountered this bug or issue?
Many thanks

install google gesture and locate data usage and remove any districts there are on google services. also go to power saving and remove the mark which turn off connectivities. the last one i do'nt have this problem.
Thanks, I actually forgot about the power savings settings! So you can swipe easily across to the reply bubble in the M2D receiver? I made my fonts size smaller, I wonder if this has effected it, it should have though? I’ll try reinstall and test again.

yes, for me it works fine on the x3+ and the s99a
Since the last update, the app doesn’t send notifications from my phone to my watch or at least take one minute to send the notification to the watch. My watch is a finow Q1 and my phone is a Samsung J7 with android 6.0.
The app was working well until the last update.

Sometimes m2d bluetooh manager freezes…when watch doesn’t receive messages, i look for m2d bluetooh manager app in the phone and if it freezes, i force close and re open it again.
I’m running it on my lemfo lem5 but in smartwatch mode I can only see the last notification and swiping does nothing… How can i solve this?
P.S: Whatsapp notification should automatically delete when you click on the reply button
Hey Pack,
Amazing work!!
Tried on two different phones: HTC 10 and Sony X Xperia Compact
Watch: Lem5
Having one issue. Notifications come thru perfectly ONLY if watch is connected to WiFi.
When on 3G: notifications come thru maybe, 1 of 5 times
If they do make it, it can take up to 5min from phone to watch. When it does work…ALL notifs come at once and sometimes in duplicates
“Gesture Search” is unavailable to me…Says not avail in this country…? So I VPNd thru a couple different Countries…Still No go.
I tried heartbeat, Nils, C notice, Settings Search…Basically all mentioned apps
I unchecked connectivity in power saver
Installed/uninstalled/installed and repeat setup
Etc etc etc
I do have a 15 letter encryption key with special characters, #s, upper/lower case… Could that be an issue? But, then why does Wi-Fi work w/o a delay.
Basically, the only thing that doesn’t work is getting notifs thru 3G. Everything else works perfectly.
Any thoughts?

try to reset the apps on both devices and try again. i reseted the watch for other reasons but i'll check with my watch to see if it is the same problem.
Has anyone gotten Voicemail (voice mail) notifications to work with M2D? I have “Do you want to be asked for new types of notifications” checked but M2D is not asking about Voicemail notifications and I’m not seeing anything related to voicemail on the watch. Voicemail message notifications are persistent on my phone until the message is played.

So I tried uninstalling apps on both devices. Entered all settings again. Now.... I'm getting NO notifs AT ALL when connected to 3G.
Even tho I hated to do so, I ended up resetting the watch to factory. Uninstalled sender on phone and reinstalled, and went thru the setup process all over again. Still nothing.
I found an app called “My Data Manager” that does what the dev recommended “Gesture…” app suggested. I’m not 100% sure what the recommended settings are supposed to be, but I ended up toggling all the Google PLAY usage data settings…
I also changed APNs, increased background processes in dev settings to 3 and also installed HeartBeat set to run evevy 2min (drastic).
So at this point, everything works flawlessly… With the one exception of when the watch is connected to mobile data.
Is there anyone that can confirm that their Lem5 and M2D work with watch connected ONLY to 3G?
The only thing I can think of at this point, even tho it shouldn’t matter, is my watch has a Straight Talk(ATT) sim and phone is ATT. Otherwise, I’m running out of possibilities.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!!!
Thank you!!!

I had the same problem.
The notif request comes from an app/service that looks like it has nothing to do with VMs.
On phone, open your sender/Go to your denied page/remove all. Leave a VM before any other notifs can come in. When the request appears, approve that one…and you’ll be all set.
Hope this helps

i see, let me check that for you and see if the problem is with an update for the watch or the apps themselves.

OK…Getting somewhere here…
I noticed that I wasn’t getting Gmail notifs on the watch. The SECOND I ran the GMAIL app…BOOM…All the missed M2D notifs came thru at once…
Now need to figure out why…?
