watch this video and remember to use upgrade not download only.
Ok, so I have to make sure to do "firmware upgrade" and not "download only". By doing this, my Lem X will update the firmware to the new one without deleting anything? Just want to make sure. Thanks
Good morning I bought lemx but does not have the app. For sleep monitors … Is there a possibility to install this app?
It will wipe your watch

The watch do not come with the sleep monitor. Yes you can install it If you read the last few posts you can find out about it and install it.

Darn... there's got to be a way where it doesn't wipe the watch. Is the update firmware worth it? If it's the only way, I'll check to see what I need to do before wiping to patch new firmware.

It's the best way to upgrade because it cleans up the whole watch and leaves no problems after the update.
It’s not the only way but it is the best way.
You can flash just system and boot if want. But this update has a few differences so it would be better if you upgrade rather than keep your old configuration.
no, all will be deleted and that how you want it, if you update the watch with new firmware without deleting anything that can cause battery issues and preformence of apps issues. it is always recommended to have a clean start on the device for better results.
App list is not showing for me with the new firmware. Is anyone else having the same issue? Did firmware upgrade and factory reset.
Hi!! I am new in this place. Recently adquired the lemx. Learning and using it for the first time. This is the only Forum that i had find with information of the lemx. I will read this thread. Thanks.

i have t his watch and it is amazing, great battery life and works fine with any app i've tried.
useful apps are: Google Gesture and Settings Search. i think also Simple Control is needed on a watch which has only one button.
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.gesturesearch
apkpure.com/settings-search/com.katzoft.settings.search.full

Thanks you very much. You are right. These apps are Essentials.
The battery life is good in comparision with other Android watches but i expected more
of this 900mAh. I have test it with a sim card and one call of 40 minutes takes 70% of the battery.
Even so the smartch watch is amazing.
Hi SoniaSophie, can you please check the first link to Google Gesture. It doesn’t seem to work for me.
XDA have a gesture bar:
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xda.nobar&hl=en_AU ; I have not tried it on the watch though. (I just got it today and flashed it).

As Pablo said, it's better, but you can try to flash everything excepted the "user data" with download only. I did it and it seems ok. But if you see anything behaving strangely, then use the wipe everything method !
Tried everything on the new firmware and still not able to get the app list to show after first boot. Just black screen. Anyone else having this issue?

you do'nt see the apps menu? that happened after the firmware update? how did you update ota or manually? anyhow reset the watch and it should start working fine.

I have done full flash and wipe manually a number of times and have also tried factory reset after flash.
On first boot, when I swipe left the app list shows. However, after a while, it just shows a black screen like it is hanging.
I have temporarily got around it by installing the ClockSkin launcher but would be good to be able to use the stock one. Will figure it out …
