No it doesn’t help on the A7.1 watches…
Hi Guys,
Can you please provide some feedback to Lemfo regarding the false advertising of the IP rating?
The IP67 rating is applied to most of there smart watches and I don’t think any of them would survive being submersed in water to 1m for 30mins.
I would make an educated guess that the watches are actually rated to IP52 with some luck during testing.
To truly get IP67, watches really need the new fancy esim chips rather than the nano sim cards, and touch buttons. [It is possible with rubber gaskets but usually they have a limited number of operations.]
edit: I watched a mr ticks video and saw that this does have a rubber grommet on the sim cover, and your tear down shows silicon around the mic and speaker. So I would hope the Lem X would have a higher IP rating than the Lem 7, but I still doubt IP67. I should have posted this gripe on the Lem 7 forum which i read first.

Dinatron was just agreeing with me "Not only could they not stand the immersion in the water, on my Lem7 the screen stopped working normally after I was riding a motorcycle in the rain. I get wet. I still have Finos X5Air in them, I walk in any weather and wash my hands without removing the watch and everything is fine."

In other news, I just ordered a Lem X and dont ride bikes so hopefully it will be OK. Lemfo has a special for the next 10hrs or so on Aliexpress and with coupons it cost $248 AUD (ish) including GST and free slow shipping.

I would hope the LEMX holds up reasonably well with moisture after all the improvements they made for the production watch.
The sim tray has double rubber gromits and is such a tight fit they supply a special lever tool for opening it.
The speaker and microphone are sealed with silicon and the body is one piece cast.
The screen is also sealed in place with silicon.
I still class this as “splash proof”.
However, even after all this - I personally would not treat my watch as waterproof - smart or otherwise.
It’s just not worth the risk, and I don’t often find myself in a situation where I am in water and need a watch…

Can someone help me? On lemfo lem x when i use bluetooth with wiiwatch2 all notifications pushed to the watch are only vibrate. I tryed everything but cant make them ring. Pls help
Watch cam without leather strap butt at list the display is ok.
Please where I can buy original silicone strap for lemfo lem x ?
One more question:is you sim cover like scratched ?

Aliexpress may have straps - search for it there.
Where did you get the watch?
It comes with both straps and the sim cover should not be scratched.

Have you checked sounds are enabled in settings? Also check that Watch and connect watch has access to notifications in advanced settings. I use Heads Up Notifications from the Play Store. It works well.

Just curious where did you buy the watch? If it came without the leather strap which strap did you receive? Like Pablo said it comes from the factory with both leather and silicone straps. The reason I ask is because if the Sim Cover was scratched, and it didn’t have both straps, it sounds like you may have received a returned or used watch.

I’ve tested on my LEM X and no sound for BT notification, only vibrate. It looks like the BT connection does not use sound or is it because of Universal launcher ?
