i plug it in and it does nothing…is there anything im not doing?..its not showing anywhere on my laptop

Go into settings and connections . Select usb transfer

ok i went to settings then connect and it has an usb option but its not highlighted so i can choose it

I have this issue on Lem10 . As well as trying @G1NT0N1C suggestion on my Lem10 a reboot helped ?
