I installed FunDo Pro on my phone. I tried to connect Kospet Hope via bluetooth. I didn’t succeed. I tried this version too: V1.4.1 (of course: V1.4.2)
I see that Kospet Brave can be connected to FunDo Pro.
Hi does anyone know the size of the Kospet Hope’s straps as I would like to order some but it has not come yet from Bangood thanks

Received mine yesterday (gearbest) and first impressions: gps works fine, wifi okay, battery life okay, looks is good, loudspeaker sucks
So we’re doing reasonably well so far
Next to investigate how to build a usb cable. Did anyone already try that?
Got my Kospect Hope yesterday, I am glad I chose it, No problems with anything, If you want anything else you have the play store. I’m in USA speedtalk sim its tmobile network active online put in and power up and you are good to go.

Hmm, that’s interesting…my speaker is actually pretty decent for such a small device. Perhaps yours has a problem.

Hello, my Hope came yesterday. Everything works, include the speaker. With no sim she need 1% power for 1 hour.

I have TWRP recovery for this model and it will be posted when the Data Cable is available. It’s looking like that time is almost here.
The boot image can be patched right now with Magisk Manager and you can flash the image to the watch, run a full install of Magisk and then you will have full root access.
The stock firmware is available for this model and the procedure is quite simple.
First things first!
If you don’t really need root or you don’t understand what root is or the process set out below - DON’T DO IT!!
This is done at your own risk.

install Magisk Manager on your regular mobile phone. Do not run it yet.

take the stock boot image from the Hope firmware pack and transfer it to your phone storage.

run Magisk on your phone and choose the option to patch boot image (check out the Magisk website)

transfer the patched boot image to your computer and flash it to your hope watch using the download only option. You will need the stock firmware scatter file for this.

install Magisk Manager on the watch and run the install (you need network for this).
In Magisk choose the install option and it should prompt you to complete it. If it does not work correctly then choose the patch boot image option and complete a full installation.
After completing this you will have full root access to the watch.
I will post a patched boot image if anyone wants to try it?
Obviously - you will need the data cable first.
This is probably available now and the great thing about it is that it’s designed so you do not need to remove the sim card to use it.

Another bonus when it comes to this model (and the LEM8) is the fact that we can install and use Google Assistant
It’s a great hands free tool but uses some battery…
As these watches are running Android 7.1 and have 2gb of ram or more - it works fine

Just bought a Kospet Hope and tryig to work out how to transfer my music files to it so that I can use it in conjunction with blue tooth headphones. I have seen a reference in recent discussions to a data cable for the Hope so assume this will do the job - is the data cable available yet and, if so, where can I get hold of one? If not how do I get my music onto the watch? Can’t seem to find any information on this - can anyone help please?
I recently purchased a Kospet Hope smartwatch, and have really been enjoying it. It is an amazing device. I was wondering if there is any way I can program the bottom button to do something specific, such as launch an app. I have been trying to figure out how to do it with Tasker, but I can’t find a way to recognize a push, or hold, of the bottom button.

I have it for about a week and so far it froze 2 times. Once while showing a notification, the screen still showed the message but the watch touchscreen and buttons didn't respond anymore. The second time happened last night where I only noticed it when I woke up. The screen was black and the watch didn't respond. Both times the solution was to force reboot it by keeping the power button pressed for about 10 seconds. I don't regret buying the kospet. Apart from some software issues it makes a good impression. It is also way better than the lem7 (bad gps, sensitive to moisture) and thor4 (sensitive to moisture) which I have previously owned. The battery lifetime, ambient watch dial and replaceable straps are cool features. Lets just "hope" the hardware will last a long time.
