You have to make the dimension of your picture to the original picture that inside the launcher2.apk. another thing, before copying the file into your device, don’t forget to force stop the launcher and then copy it. It need to work without any problem.

Thanks @Ido_Aflalo ​. Picture was the same dimension but the size was about 30kB more, didn’t force stop it, just deleted the original apk. Has anyone successfully changed the picture?
