My X1 watch was hanging periodically through the day, like in the screen goes blank and the only way is to connect it to the USB dock to get it back to life. I managed to flash this version and I will let you know if it continues to happen.
I am happy to say that my X1 has not hung for at least a day after I flashed it with this new firmware. I does however have a strain on the battery life, it used probably 25% more during the day, but ‘most’ of the time it did manage to switch between 2 and 3G and all its variants without being prompted.

I just made sure it was turned off and did not disconnect the battery. That worked for me.
For me the pc don´t recognize the preloader of the watch.
@Bartus_Wrobel yes this can be used on X1, X3, D5 and K9 - but the latest firmware is better than this - which I posted
