Yes - the status bar is entirely useless on round watches. But it was causing notification issue because they removed it completely back then.

Interesting idea to have this switch. I believe that what @AILIFE said about apps knowing that GMS is built into the framework may still cause power draw problems.
As I said though, I canāt really comment until I get hold of a sample. Thanks for bringing it to the forum though, itās certainly different and this switch is just one example. Further investigation needed

Well yes and no. I can almost certainly get the generic chip firmware, but the point I have is that it is always better to have the correct firmware for the watch before making any changes. A get of jail free card - so to speak.
Being almost 60 years old, I donāt have the drive and motivation to go through so much agro to get a watch working again after I may cause boot failuresā¦.

Yes, thatās what we need in the absence of being able to get the stock firmware from the vendor.
Although, itās not so easy for most people to dump the firmware.
We would have to post a guide to follow and assure people that firmware dump is harmless for the watch.
can make a sh file that does it for you and put in all in a folder so just run ./dump.sh will dump, no need for second button either

Itās a solution that was used back in 2014 because it was possible for people to create their own.
If a new, more efficient format comes up then thatās great. As long as people can still create their own without too much trouble.

Actually, heās pretty good with adb.
Unfortunately there is a driver problem on his machine since he got the S13. But usually heās pretty good on that score.
hate to break it down to you but the watchfaceddesigner is really difficult to use, we are already working on a better one that also uses .watch format( for pc)
