use Eric launcher and you’ll be able to use all WF, also when something crashes it is recommended to reset the watch after the updates.
is there a way to install watch face directly on the original launcher ?

Some you can not, but you can not get any?
But we’re not talking about any custom face but the ones that are available on the server …
