so if i read right, my screen not coming on when notifications come in is a common thing? i can stop looking in the setting for a solution then and await the updated firmware…
Yes - that is correct @jesax
It will come as an over the air update when it is completed.
By the way - always go to the system app called “Optimisation” and turn off the background task killer app as well.

OTA should not erase data @christ
@Eric_Crochemore had an early sample which may have needed to be wiped after OTA. Yours is production so should not.
We will see - I only flash full firmware and that erases all data.
I do that because I don’t want any bugs left over from previous versions, but factory reset after OTA will do same thing. So if you find any issues after OTA you can always factory reset.
You can try various backup solutions if you are going to reset the watch.

By the way everyone - there is an issue with SCRCPY and any other screen control app where the screen is not reflected correctly.
I am not sure if changing the video codec in dev options will fix it because I am unable to test that due to my health problems, but if anyone knows of a fix - please share it here.
The capability for a custom system image for this device is excellent and this fix would be beneficial for this and any other tweaks you guys might want to explore.

So i think that i have the same production as Eric because after receive the watch i just have configured some things ( language , date hours, etc… ) after put on Wifi she purpose the update ( 20 mo ) and the update erase all… Now i have configured many apps and dont want to loose them by a OTA update if she erase all again.

I guess you may not remember which version was on the watch before it was wiped with OTA? I will check this out if you remember it.

The chipset is M6769 regardless of how flash tools reflect the chipset version - some of the Android 15 code for M6768 was merged with M6769 code to achieve a stable composition.
So the information regarding M6769 on the SCRCPY git is appropriate

Lastly (sorry to bombard the chat but I have a lot of tips I worked out) the app store and watch face store don’t seem to work, bad http request. But I was able with chat to create a magisk module that modified the watch face to load specific apps when clicked on a section. So now it’s essentially a customized homescreen launcher. This does require root to do but I found extreamly more efficient to be able to launch spotify, folder in folder, camera, phone, whatsapp, a better weather app, and timer from the watchface screen than having to navigate to the apps every time

Another thing I wanted to share is I have set up a mint mobile pre paid sim card which works great, except getting voicemail was a bit of a pain. You need to sideload a specific version of t mobile visual voicemail as the one on google play won’t work for some reason
It works better if you switch your device to portrait mode than keeping it landscape. The problem I believe is that the watch is reporting a 480x640 aspect ration instead of a 640x480 aspect ratio

Correct, use at your own risk! So far I have had no noticable issues outside of not being able to run apps that don’t work if you’re rooted but you never know!
And you’re correct about the drivers, I found signed versions online in an exe so I didn’t need to turn off unsigned driver protection, but I didn’t want to link it because I cannot verify if they aren’t risky.

android 15 with gki support you can use kernelsu then its undetectable you can play games
WOW…what a battery!!! i don’t know if everyone is getting this, but i used it 2 days as standalone watch/phone…receiving and sending mails, a few calls, usage of all media (facebook,messenger and whatspp), watching my home cams, etc… and after 36 hours i still have 67% battery…never had a faw with that kind of autonomy

Yes battery life seem to be good but i have many apps running in the background and sometime no notifications, need more time to test and tuning…

yess, notifications are a bit hit or miss, and no wake up off the screen…but hopefully the next update will solve this

new rtosify is released using the none deprecated method to wake the screen, and support use shizuku to wake the screen, continue the feedback in that thread if any

At this testing moment many Google apps works excepted Agenda who display ’ stockage agenda desactivated ’ so no notifications from Agenda who dont work.
same here…all google apps work except agenda…for me not so bad…i use OneCalendar for the moment
